hi, i’m vlad.
I’m a student based in Cluj-Napoca, studying at Colegiul Național “Emil Racoviță”. I’m interested in AI architectures, competitive programming, mathematics, research, and building things from zero.
swiftfox
The SwiftFox architecture has evolved through many iterations: a native multimodal language model (text + up to 3 images) built with RoPE, 2D residual patch projections, SwiGLU activations, and dynamic entropy-driven adaptive Top-K MoE routing.
28 october..?
whatever😭
CCC 2026 — School & Data/AI
Place School: 14th, Place Data/AI: 31st (with team PretrainedLanguageModel) — a very interesting experience held back by matchmaking issues and the lack of fairness around paid AI subscriptions.
1st Place at From Algorithms to Neurons — AI Competition & Hackathon
1st place in the AI Competition (Group A, Grades 7–10) and 9th place in the 24h Hackathon at Constanța Maritime University.
My Volunteer Experience at UNTOLD
A quick overview of my wonderful one-week volunteer experience at UNTOLD festival in Cluj-Napoca.
swiftfox (multimodal moe)
Custom Multimodal Language Model (MLM) processing up to 3 images + text with Rotary Position Embeddings (RoPE), 2D residual patch projections, SwiGLU, and dynamic entropy-driven adaptive Top-K MoE.
socrate (main model)
The core machine learning model and inference code for the Socrate architecture. Built for high performance and scalability.
skillab radar
Labour-market analytics platform powered by AI-assisted insights. Built for the Skillab Innovation Challenge where it won 1st place and a €1000 prize.
CCC 2026 — School & Data/AI 14th · School / 31st · Data/AI
Placed 14th in School and 31st in Data/AI with team PretrainedLanguageModel in an intense edition marked by matchmaking bottlenecks and the lack of fairness around top-tier paid AI subscriptions.
ROSDC 2026 Operations · Condor
First of all, Condor is way better than Kepler or whatever other team 💔 Worked on the Operations department in the Romanian Space Design Competition, collaborating with creative students on a complex aerospace engineering proposal.
From Algorithms to Neurons 1st · AI Competition / 9th · Hackathon
1st place in the AI Competition (Group A) and 9th place in the 24h Hackathon at Constanța Maritime University.
RISE Final Round 2nd place
Second place at the RISE Final Round after a stronger final with harder AI tasks.
Skillab Innovation Challenge 1st place
First place with a project around skills, labour-market analytics, and AI-assisted insight.
good things start with a hello.
